Rakyat Digital: Up to 100,000 young Malaysians can get AI tools
The offer is real, but it is not an instant giveaway. Age, completed learning modules, phased rollout and the live terms all matter.

Rakyat Digital now links learning to access
Malaysia’s new Rakyat Digital portal brings government-backed digital learning into one account. The most eye-catching offer is three months of complimentary AI-tool access for eligible Malaysians aged 18 to 30.[1][3]
The detail matters: young people must complete selected modules covering AI safety, CyberSAFE, generative AI, agentic AI, cloud and Malaysia MADANI values. Rollout is phased and governed by terms that should be checked on the live portal.[1]

This is useful because it pairs access to AI tools with basic safety and skills. The main trap is assuming every applicant gets every tool on day one.
