Sidec Names 12 Selangor Accelerator Winners, Several Building AI Products
Sidec’s Grand Final Demo Day picked 12 winners from 511 applications. Four describe AI products, but the announcement reports no results for any of them, and only the three champions have a stated prize.

In brief
- Sidec named 12 winners of the Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026 on 14 October at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, during AiSEM@Selangor.[1]
- Sidec describes AI products at four winners: Enygma, Empowered Solutions, Leogics and Coded Solution. It reports no customer or accuracy results for them.[1]
- Three champions each received RM20,000. Prize amounts for the nine Top Winners and the Shanghai trip dates are not stated.[1]
What Sidec announced
The Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) named 12 winners of the Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026 on 14 October. The Grand Final Demo Day took place at the Plenary Theatre of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre during the AI & Semiconductor Summit, known as AiSEM@Selangor. Sidec published the results on 19 October.[1]
The page describes AI products at four of the 12 winners. It gives no customer numbers, accuracy figures or revenue for any of them, so the AI claims are company descriptions relayed by Sidec.[1]

How 511 applications became 12 winners
Sidec says the programme received 511 applications this year. Showcase Days in August selected 90 startups, and the top eight from each of three tracks became 24 finalists. Each finalist pitched for seven minutes, then took seven minutes of questions from judges drawn from venture capital, banking and industry. Sidec says the judges alone decided the winners.[1]
The tracks are Deep-X, Retail-X and Token-X. Sidec’s June launch notice describes Deep-X as supporting deep-tech startups in areas such as AI and semiconductors, Retail-X as helping consumer-facing SMEs go digital, and Token-X, new this year, as covering digital assets, blockchain and Web3. Four winners came from each track.[2][1]
The champions were Enygma Technologies in Deep-X, RExharge in Retail-X and e23 in Token-X. Each track produced one champion and three Top Winners, and each champion took home RM20,000. Sidec does not state prize amounts for the nine Top Winners.[1]

Where AI appears among the winners
Enygma Technologies, the Deep-X champion, is developing Xentri, an AI-powered inspection and asset-integrity platform for asset-intensive industries. Another Deep-X winner, Empowered Solutions, is replacing the manual craftsmanship behind prosthetic limbs with an AI-powered platform so devices can be made at scale, according to Sidec. A third, Leogics, builds AI systems that automate business operations.[1]
In Token-X, Coded Solution builds Web3 and AI platforms for enterprises and financial institutions. The Token-X champion, e23, is building a quantum-resistant blockchain, and Sidec does not describe it as an AI business. Retail-X winners include an electric-vehicle services company, food and health product makers and a workshop studio.[1]

What the announcement leaves out
Sidec’s page says what each company is building. It does not report customers, revenue or accuracy for any AI product, and the judges’ scoring criteria are unpublished. Readers should treat the AI descriptions as the companies’ own, not as tested results.[1]
All 12 winners join Sidec’s World Stage Venture programme. The eight Deep-X and Token-X winners go to Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026 from 2 to 6 November. The four Retail-X winners travel to Shanghai, including TikTok Shop training at ByteDance’s Shanghai office. Sidec gives no dates for that trip.[1]
Why Malaysia should care
For Malaysian founders and SME owners, the signal is small but concrete. A Selangor state corporation put AI and semiconductor startups on the main stage of its summit and is paying for overseas exposure. Sidec’s June launch notice also introduced Wira AI, a programme meant to move SMEs from interest in AI to daily use. Neither page ties a winner to Wira AI.
SME owners looking for AI tools
Sidec describes products for inspection, operations automation and prosthetics, but publishes no results or prices.[1]
Practical move: Ask each vendor for named customers and measured results before any trial.
Early-stage AI founders in Selangor
Deep-X covers AI and semiconductors, and winners get funded overseas exposure.[2][1]
Practical move: Check Sidec’s programme pages for the next cohort, since dates and eligibility are not in these notices.
Investors and corporate partners
The judges came from venture capital, banking and industry, and Sidec reports RM216 million raised across 14 cohorts.[1]
Practical move: Read that total as a programme-wide figure, not a result for this year’s winners.
What Malaysians can do now
- Ask any AI vendor, including these winners, for named customers and measured results before paying for a pilot.
- Read Sidec’s Deep-X, Retail-X and Token-X pages to see which track fits your business.
- Register interest with Sidec if you want its Wira AI sessions for SMEs.
What we still do not know
Sidec has not published several details.
- Whether any winner’s AI product has paying customers or measured results.
- Prize amounts for the nine Top Winners, and the judges’ scoring criteria.
- Dates of the Shanghai trip for the four Retail-X winners.
